'Beautiful Canada' is a great CD of 28 songs written by Bob & Helen Roberts of Vancouver. It is recorded with the 'big band sounds' of the Dal Richard's Orchestra and vocals are performed by Dal, Lynne McNeil and Peter Chipman. This particular project came about because Dal was originally looking for a recorded version of 'The Maple Leaf Forever' for his weekly radio program on AM 1040 in Vancouver. He eventually found the recorded version, but not before Bob E. Roberts (who is in his 70's) heard of his search and sat down and wrote 'Beautiful Canada' with his wife Helen.

This song is distinctly Canadian in form and very descriptive of our great country so it became the title song on this CD. This CD includes the great vocal styling of Canadian singers Peter Chipman and Lynne McNeil, and even sports the rarely recorded voice of the great band leader himself, Dal Richards. All the songs are original and include some Christmas and children's songs as well.
