The Henchmen - Reunion CD

Well, here is Canadian-Maritime folk music performed by The Henchmen, from The University of New Brunswick, the best Maritime folk group in the Sixties’s.  This CD/cassette contains 26 wonderful folksongs including: Down the River St. John  (by Doug Major), The Bluenose (by Helen Thurber), Copper Kettle, Nova Scotia Could Not Hold Me and many more.

It also includes 5 more beautiful New Brunswick songs like: The Hammond River, Down East in Old NB and Deer Island as well as a lot more traditional folksongs as performed by The Henchmen.  These are some never-before released folksongs, written by the late Doug Major and recorded by The Henchmen at CHSJ Radio in Saint John in 1963.

We have agreed on behalf of The Henchmen, to donate $2.00/CD and $1.00/cassette to the University of New Brunswick Alumni Fund.
