'Flights of
Imagination' and Miracle Island'
Laurel & Jan are wonderful
children's entertainers from Vancouver, BC. Their 'Flights of Imagination' CD has
something to please everyone. Formerly known as 'The Ladybugs', Laurel and Jan have
spent many hours at the Library, at Science World, on the Internet - and up to their
elbows in the dirt of their own beloved gardens, compiling fascinating facts about the
creepy crawlers we all love to hate. As a result, many of the songs on this diverse
children's CD have their basis in fact. Of course, sometimes girls 'Just Wanna Have
Fun' and 'Flights of Imagination' also offer lots of stuff and nonsense to dance to and
sing along with. In addition, it gives the listener a chance to enjoy a variety of
musical styles coupled with lyrics that are sometimes funny, sometimes wistful - but
always worth a listen! All the original songs are written by Laurel and Jan
except 'Circle Game'. This is truly music for all who Imagine! |
